Halifax International Writers’ Festival 2007

The 2007 Halifax International Writers’ Festival will take place in downtown Halifax March 28 - April 1.  All mainstage readings will take place at the Lord Nelson Hotel on the corner of Spring Garden Road and South Park Street.

We are pleased to present Canada Reads nominee Heather O’Neill, Joseph Kanon, author of “The Good German”, and Noah Richler amongst a host of others.

In addition to our mainstage reading series, the festival will present two workshop series. A free, public workshop series will be offered at the Spring Garden Road branch of the Halifax Public Library.  The festival will also offer a series of workshops at an advanced level.

2007 promises to be an exciting year at the HIWF with over 20 authors over five days.  This is surely a festival not to be missed!
